A recycling company in Switzerland needed a heavy-duty scrap cutting machine to improve the processing efficiency of mixed metal scrap. The customer required a machine that could handle heavy scrap materials, reduce manual cutting work, and fit their existing recycling yard operation.

After discussing the customer’s material type, working environment, and production expectations, WANSHIDA recommended a customized 400-ton hydraulic container shear. Compared with traditional cutting methods, the container shear offers a compact structure, strong cutting force, and convenient operation for scrap metal yards.

One highlight of this project is the machine’s customized appearance. The customer selected a bright pink coating, which gives the heavy-duty machine a very distinctive look. Although the color is eye-catching, the machine itself is designed for serious industrial work.

Before shipment, the machine was assembled and tested in our workshop. The hydraulic system, PLC control, cutting movement, and overall machine operation were checked carefully. Running videos and machine photos were provided to the customer for inspection.
