In the scrap metal recycling industry, a growing operational challenge is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore: traditional processing methods are no longer sufficient to handle rising volumes and more complex scrap materials.

For many medium and large recycling facilities, the materials being processed are no longer limited to light scrap. Instead, they include heavy steel plates, structural components, and mixed industrial waste. These materials are bulky and irregular, making them difficult to handle using standard balers alone.

In real-world operations, it is common to see scrap piles accumulating on-site, requiring manual sorting and pre-cutting before compression. This fragmented workflow reduces efficiency and increases labor costs. In addition, without proper cutting, the resulting bales often lack density and uniformity, leading to higher transportation costs.
